Best food, vegan available, prepared with care and love!

Wonderful vegan menus. Staff, child service. Food and staff are great. Wonderful small but nice vegan menu. Food was wonderful. Had the burger and a heavenly chocolate mousse. Make a reservation as places are limited due to Corona.

Not only the nice restaurant staff was the absolute bestseller during my visit, but also the great flair. From our point of view, a meeting in the restaurant is consistently recommended. I think the selection is wide and so far most of it has tasted absolutely brilliant, what I got in front of me. We find the restaurant contemporary for all occasions, whether with friends, friends or clan; ).

Super cute family restaurant. The food is always freshly prepared and the menu changes weekly. If you eat here, you get great service and delicious vegan food in a nice atmosphere, but you have to dig a little deeper into your pocket. :)

I was there for the first time today, but definitely not for the last time! I absolutely fell in love with the rustic and cozy ambience and the owner is a really lovely soul. The food was fresh, tasty and lovingly presented. I think the price is absolutely reasonable and I'll be back!

Delicious burger, quick and nice service.

Lovely little restaurant! The food is delicious and the staff are incredibly friendly. Portion sizes are a bit small for the price, but no major complaints. The restaurant is very small, so recommended to make a reservation in advance.

When paying, we were told how to get to the nearest ATM. It's the year 2020 and only cash payments are accepted at the Mariposa in Nuremberg! That doesn't work at all, no matter how friendly the service and the food can be.

A mega delicious and incredibly filling vegan brunch. The owner is very friendly and committed. The brunch invites you to relax and enjoy. A perfect Sunday all round.

Slow food! So: bring your time. You will be rewarded with fantastic food.

Super friendly people. Small, cozy restaurant with limited seating. We have collected. Portions of the main courses are on the small side but very carefully and beautifully prepared. Smoothies don't really bother. Mains very tasty. Lasagna a must!

I can only advise against eating here. It was the worst meal we have ever been served. There are so many great vegan / vegetarian restaurants where eating is a pleasure and you like to pay € 50 for a tasty, fresh meal. Here you should go on.

Really delicious very fresh vegan food. The ladies working were incredibly friendly and made the meal feel very special. Menu is very small which is a big bonus in my opinion.

Since yesterday my new favorite restaurant in Nuremberg! Beautiful old half-timbered building, super delicious high quality food and a really nice and dear owner who cares for her guests with passion and passion. Would like to come back as soon as possible :-)

Sweet little place. Only 3 tables so I would recommend calling before coming. Very friendly cook and service which are right next to you. Very delicious vegan food with only few options which suits perfectly to me (less of a struggle which one to choose;). Highly recommended!

What all the other 5-star reviews said. Worth going even if you aren't v*n and can deal with a dinner without meat.

The stuffed mushrooms and stuffed tomatoes were absolutely delicious. Very friendly service. A bit pricey but the quality of the food was high.

One of the best Vegan meals I have ever had and I have travelled around the world. Such friendly staff who explain all the dishes and all the ingredients in English. Booking is advised as its very small. But what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in taste. Highly recommended! Pls open one in London!

Absolutely loved this place! The menu wasn’t available in English however one of the staff members promptly translated and explained every dish which was so nice of her! Food is very delicious and is prepared in the same room, only downside is that it is a quite small place and could get packed, highly highly recommend even if you’re not vegan!

It is wonderful here. Come from Salzburg where there are a few vegan restaurants, but such a family business with so much love cooks and serves I've never got to face. Very tasty food and unbelievably great company. Absolutely recommended

Big on flavour, but probably the tiniest restaurant i have ever visited. Book ahead

A very quaint, small, "sweet" restaurant with delicious dishes and super friendly service. I had the "Burger a la Mariposa" for 14.90 euros (green nut and nut patty, tomatoes, lettuce, avodaco, mayonnaise in a spelled bun) and was not completely full afterwards. But that was not a problem, because the owner Maria Kasper simply served me a mini burger afterwards :) She wants to meet people with different "quantity needs" so that no one leaves the restaurant hungry, but no food has to be thrown away. A great idea, which of course can only be implemented in the Mariposa because everything is freshly prepared there. As a classic omnivore, I wouldn't eat the burger there again (there are high-quality meat burgers for much less money everywhere in the city), but I'd love to try the other things instead. For me, a clear recommendation for everyone who is looking for vegan food at a high level. With Ms. Kasper we felt in great hands :)

Best vegan food I ever had and very healthy too. Damn tasty! The owner and the staff are very friendly, such a pleasure to talk to them. Was supposed to be 30-40 mins dinner, ended up talking to such nice people for 3-4 hours. Must go place in Nuremberg.

Hidden gem in Nuremberg! First of all I have to say I am neither a vegetarien or a vegan but I love this place! The food was super delicious and the hospitality even better. The menu changes from time to time but no matter what is on it, it is always tasty. If you go there you have to try the sausages! They are the best! So even if you are normally into meat you should definitely give this place a try. You won't regret it!

It was the first time we went out vegan. And Mariposa set the bar very, very high. Very very friendly service, cozy atmosphere, very clean and well-kept. Very inexpensive for the very exotic content! Incredibly delicious starters and main courses. Every bite was an experience, everything was perfectly coordinated, very flavorful and simply unbeatably delicious. We will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant as much as possible !!!

Great food and service. If you are vegan, this is the place to be in Nuremberg. Tiny seating area inside is the only thing to keep in mind.
